FORMALITIES
PASSPORT
Present a valid biometric or electronic passport. In accordance with US law, the validity of a foreign national's passport must cover a period of six months beyond the date of departure from the United States except for the "Six Month Club Members" which France is part of.
ESTA
The ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) is a mandatory form to be completed online by any French national ahead of his trip to the USA. It allows an authorization of entry in the USA. This is a paid form for the price of $15.
https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov is the only site that provides a valid ESTA.
VACCINE
No vaccine is required to travel to the United States. However, check that they are up to date. For all questions related to diseases and viruses in the United States, I advise you to consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
EMERGENCY
For all emergency assistance, be it the police, ambulances or firefighters, dial 911.
