Indian reserve

Own by the Navajos Indian, the territory is protected as a sacred site by them since centuries. Indeed, Monument Valley is an integral part of the Navajoland Indian Reserve. The Navajos guides provide various visits of the site by 4x4, by horse or by foot. The welcoming owners offer the possibility to spend the night within their community in order to take the opportunity to enjoy the lights on the reliefs and the breathtaking sunset.

Monument Valley takes its success from a Western movie in 1938 which aroused interest of people from all over the world. Discover vast plains and its outstanding landscapes surrounded by impressive monoliths of red sandstone sometimes reaching 300 meters high. You will be spellbound by these titanic towers and arrows of stones carved by the wind for centuries.
